One engineer, three playing fields
Cybersecurity, development and infrastructure: three ways of solving the same problem — building systems you can trust.
My name is Zacharie Igor Tene Fogang. My path began in Cameroon, where I earned a scientific baccalaureate with highest honours before joining the preparatory classes and then the engineering cycle at the National Advanced School of Engineering of Yaoundé.
That is where a double-degree opportunity with ENSEEIHT (Toulouse INP) opened up. I came to France to seize it: I joined directly in the 2nd year (M1) in software systems engineering, then the 3rd year (M2) in the TLS-SEC (Toulouse Sécurité) major — a demanding cybersecurity program jointly run by ENSEEIHT, INSA Toulouse and ENAC.
Across my internships — fullstack development, distributed backends, then securing infrastructure in production — I realised what truly drives me is the link between these worlds: writing solid code, understanding how it runs at the lowest level, and protecting it.
I defend my final-year project in September 2026 and I'm available from then on. I'm looking to put this threefold skill set at the service of teams building serious things, without ever forgetting that behind every system, there are people.
What guides me
Rigour and method
Diagnose before acting, document, and leave a clean, understandable system for whoever comes next.
Technical curiosity
Look under the hood, because you only secure well what you truly understand.
Team first
Autonomous when facing a problem, but convinced we go further together and by listening.
Adaptability and proactivity
Adapting to a new context, stack or team, and staying proactive — contributing ideas along the way.
Education
From Cameroon to Toulouse, an engineering path built on information systems, software and security.
Engineering Degree — Digital Sciences, Software Engineering & Cybersecurity major (TLS-SEC — Toulouse Sécurité)
Toulouse INP — ENSEEIHT · Toulouse, France
Joined the engineering cycle in the 2nd year (M1) through the double-degree program, majoring in Software Systems Engineering, then the final year (M2) in the TLS-SEC (Toulouse Sécurité) cybersecurity major, jointly run by ENSEEIHT, INSA Toulouse and ENAC.
Double degree: Master SSIR — Information Systems & Network Security (University of Toulouse)
Engineering Program — Computer Engineering
National Advanced School of Engineering of Yaoundé (ENSPY) · Yaoundé, Cameroon
Two years of integrated preparatory classes (mathematics, physics, computer science) then the engineering cycle, before joining the double-degree program with ENSEEIHT.
ENSPY – ENSEEIHT double degree
Scientific Baccalaureate — Mathematics & Physics

Highest Honours (Mention Très Bien)
Professional experience
Three internships that took me from code to deployment, and on to securing infrastructure and information systems.
